The Berlin wall was constructed to create a barrier between East and West Berlin. It was commenced on 13th august, 1961 and ideologically the wall divided Berlin until 1989.
This photography project was done after twenty five years since the fall of the wall. It was completed over a period of four years, and captures how people, places and architecture has evolved amongst the vicinity around the wall.
The images creates an immersive experience, through the use of geometric and angular style photography, to contrast the usual documentary perspective.

The images follow a cinematic theme, illustrated as ‘Life. Still. Dreams’, and is a reflection of life experiences. The sequencing of the images is to evoke an emotional journey and highlight the vibrancy, yet stillness of life.
To begin with, the chapter ‘Life’ captures unique glimpses of a stranger’s story, appreciating the business each day can bring, with each location documenting a distinctive liveliness.
The chapter then fades into ‘Still’, which is a series of photos that reflect on the futility of life, when the business of day-to-day life comes to a halt.
The goal of this book is to raise awareness for movement disorders and brain injury charities, with every donation sent to help support and fund these organisations.

This book explores a glimpse insight into scenic British beaches, from Littlehampton
to Southend on Sea.

‘Life in Life’ focuses on capturing the unique and imperfect moments of contemporary life. This particular photographic expression provokes an intimate tone in documentary photography, as it provides a brief glimpse into an individual’s life.
The inspiration for this project was drawn from Martin Parr’s earlier work, in photographing the liveliness of large crowds during summer holidays. Parr’s particular fascination in capturing ordinary people having a good time, laid the foundation for the composition of the photos taken.

These photographs were initially exhibited by the BBC in 2010, under the theme ‘Shadows and Lines’. This led to further exploration of this initial body of work, and became the springboard for this book. Overall, ‘ Shadows Shapes Spaces’ is an initial photographic illustration of how shadows interfere with spaces, with this focus being further developed in the sequel book ‘Silence the Shadows’. Several of the photos highlight how SHADOWS create geometric SHAPES, especially in empty SPACES.
